The terms “clean” or “natural” are not defined or regulated, so different brands may use them in different ways. For example, some products advertise that they are silicone-free while still relying on other synthetic polymer film-forming ingredients.

At MDERM, we define clean skincare as products formulated without ingredients that have raised health or environmental concerns.

Our products are EWG Verified®, meaning they meet the ingredient transparency and safety criteria established by the EWG Verified® program.

For dry hands, moisturizing in the morning and again before bed can help keep skin feeling soft, smooth, and comfortable. If your hands are excessively dry, you can also reapply after washing.

At night, your skin can lose moisture while you sleep. Applying a moisturizer before bed helps lock in hydration and support the skin’s natural moisture barrier.

MDERM™ is made with long-lasting moisturizers and antioxidant-rich botanical ingredients, including moringa leaf extract, to help keep dry hands feeling hydrated, soft, and smooth.

Our moisturizer is safe for sensitive skin. Independent third-party safety testing, including testing on individuals with sensitive skin, found the product to be non-irritating under the test conditions. All of our formulations are reviewed by dermatologists.

Although MDERM™ is designed primarily for working hands, it can also be used on your body, feet, and face.

The primary purpose of a moisturizer is to help attract water to the outer layer of the skin and reduce moisture loss. To do this, moisturizers often contain ingredients called humectants, which may be naturally derived or synthetically produced.

Moringa leaf extract contains naturally occurring compounds associated with humectant properties. Published studies have evaluated topical moringa leaf extract for its role in supporting skin hydration and helping reduce transepidermal water loss, which can help skin retain moisture.

Moringa is also naturally rich in antioxidant compounds, including vitamins A, C, and E, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds. Laboratory research has evaluated certain moringa compounds for their antioxidant properties, while topical skincare research has explored moringa leaf extract for helping dry skin feel more comfortable.
